  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk, or more as needed

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, freeze-dried strawberry powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Allow cooling on wire racks.
  8. For icing, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, freeze-dried strawberry powder, and milk until smooth. Spread on cooled cookies.
