Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole wheat linguine
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • 1 pound precooked snow crab legs (cut into 34 inch pieces)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Minced parsley (for garnish)
  • Parmigiano Reggiano (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté grated garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add chili flakes and crab legs; sauté for another minute. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover to steam the crab legs for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Toss in cooked linguine along with reserved cooking liquid and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve garnished with minced parsley and, if desired, Parmigiano Reggiano.
