  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 cups boiled and shredded boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red or orange bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups Bisquick flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Layer shredded chicken evenly over melted butter.
  3. Add chopped onion and bell peppers on top of the chicken, then sprinkle with poultry seasoning and salt.
  4. In a bowl, mix Bisquick flour, milk, and salt until combined; pour over the vegetable layer.
  5. Whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken stock; pour over the Bisquick layer.
  6. Bake for about an hour until golden brown.
