- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoon cake flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 Tablespoon milk
Instructions
- In a stand mixer, beat room temperature unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until fluffy.
- In another bowl, combine cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture while mixing.
- Chill the dough for one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your filling by mixing unsalted butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
- Scoop chilled dough (about 1/4 cup) and create wells to fill with the mixture. Seal with another half of dough.
