  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup snap peas, ends trimmed
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Steamed rice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by thinly slicing the beef and chopping the vegetables.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with vegetable oil until shimmering.
  4. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from pan.
  5. In the same skillet, add the vegetables and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture; toss everything together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
